Approved Continuing Education (Con-Ed) Courses
Members can access a list of pre-approved courses in the members-only section of the MTAS website. These courses count toward the required 40 competency credits per three-year cycle.

Course Approval
If a course is not pre-approved, the members or course provider may submit it for assessment.
Evaluation Fee
$125 + GST per course assessment.
Continuing Education Requirements
Practicing members must complete a total of 40 competency credits over a three-year period.
40 primary credits or 33 primary + 7 business credits.
New members have a two-year grace period before primary credit requirements begin.
Non-practicing members have reduced credit requirements based on the length of non-practicing status.
Members must track their credits and submit proof of completion through the MTAS portal.
Course Provider Application
If you are a course provider looking to have your course accredited for MTAS continuing education credits, you must submit a formal application.
