Approved Continuing Education Courses
Members may access a list of pre-approved courses in the members-only portal. These courses count toward the required 40 competency credits per three-year cycle.

Course Approval
If a course is not pre-approved, the member or course provider may submit it for assessment.
Evaluation Fee
$125 + GST per course assessment.
Competency Requirements
Practicing members must complete a total of 40 competency credits over a three-year period.
40 competency credits. May include a maximum of 7 business credits.
Newly graduated members have a two-year grace period before primary credit requirements begin. 7 business credits are mandatory.
Non-practicing members have reduced competency credit requirements based on the length of non-practicing status.
Members must track their competency credits and submit proof of completion through the MTAS portal.
