Member Services Representative

Company Introduction
The Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan, Inc. is a mission-driven organization dedicated to the profession of massage therapy and the protection of the public.  We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about our cause, eager to support our diverse community of members, and assist the Executive Director.


Position Overview

The Member Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for our members and other stakeholders, providing essential support to ensure a positive customer service experience. You will balance conventional administrative duties with member guidance, bookkeeping, database management, communications and event coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Member  Engagement: Serve as the central point of contact; respond  to inquiries via phone and e-mail; provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Database  Management: Maintain and update the member database and Association website, ensuring data integrity for membership renewals and continuing education, and for the public interest/information.
  • Communications: Facilitate information exchange and member engagement. Manage relationships and reputation with outside partners and other stakeholders.  Social media     management.
  • Event Co-ordination: Provide administrative and organizational support for member events, workshops, and the annual general meeting, including negotiating contracts, event logistics, and taking minutes.
  • Financial  Administration: Manage bookkeeping for accounts receivable.

 Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in an administrative/client services role, in a professional office environment.
  • Education: Post-secondary certificate in office administration or a related bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Technical  Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and  QuickBooks Online, and experience with database management, website maintenance and communications/ collaboration software.  Experience with graphic design software would be an asset.
  • Core  Competencies: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;  ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ethical standards under pressure; a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities proactively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule:      Part-time (24 hours/week), Monday to Friday, schedule to be negotiated.  Occasional evenings and weekends for member events will be required.
  • Salary:      $22.00–$24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits:      Free onsite parking.  Health and dental benefits are unavailable.
