About the Association

MTAS registrants are health professionals who have met rigorous registration requirements, including at least 2,200 hours of post-secondary education in science and in the clinical applications of massage therapy.  They have also passed a multi-component registration (entry to practice) member qualifying examination administered by the MTAS.

Members are required to abide by standards of practice and standards of professional ethics, and to meet the Association’s continuing competence requirements.  These and other requirements are designed to ensure that our members provide safe, ethical and effective healthcare.

Please ensure you are receiving treatment from a professional!  All members of the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan, Inc. have official documentation. Ask to see a therapist's MTAS membership certificate or wallet card for assurance.
