Somatic Exercise Teacher Training Modules 1-3

Online

NMP Somatic Education™ – Natural Movement Pattern Somatics

NMP Somatics™ is a Canadian-developed, progressive somatic movement education program (the Somatic Exercise Teacher Training) designed for Registered Massage Therapists and bodywork professionals. Grounded in Hanna Somatic Education, neuroplasticity, and sensory-motor learning, the program aligns with Canadian massage therapy values of client safety, professional boundaries, and evidence-informed practice. The training emphasizes how many chronic pain and postural patterns are neurological rather than structural and provides practical, non-forceful movement tools that complement hands-on massage therapy within scope of practice.

NMP Somatics™ is further informed by peer-reviewed clinical research, including findings published in the Saudi Journal of Medicine & Medical Sciences (2022), which demonstrated significant reductions in chronic neck and low back pain, decreased reliance on pain medication, and fewer physician visits following Hanna Somatic Education sessions, supporting somatic movement education as a safe, non-pharmacological approach to neuromuscular retraining.

Program Overview (Modules 1– 4).  This professional training progresses from foundational neuromuscular awareness to applied teaching, observation, and assisted learning principles.

Participants learn how chronic pain, posture, and movement limitations are often neurological in origin, and how somatic exercises can safely retrain the brain-body connection.

Offered both In Person & Online.

PRICE:
Online Modules: $500 each
In Person Modules: $650 each
